Using a COMPOSITE camera support and don’t know where to put your IDX battery plate? The VERTICAL IDX ROD BLOCK is the solution. With this accessory you can easily attach an IDX battery to standard 15mm rods. The battery is then positioned vertically.

The VERTICAL IDX ROD BLOCK is composed of an IDX Gold Mount Battery Plate (QRC-GOLD, Universal Compact Mounting Plate) attached to a solid aluminum plate. A ROD BLOCK is also attached to the aluminum plate.

The ROD BLOCK allows the VERTICAL IDX ROD BLOCK to be attached to 15mm rods and to slide along the rods.

The VERTICAL IDX ROD BLOCK is designed:

To be used with the COMPOSITE camera supports.
To be attached to 15mm rods attached above the shoulder pad.
